I've been following Edgar A. Powe's case, and something that really stands out to me is how little media coverage it received back in '96. I've lived in Mobile my whole life and barely remember any news about it at the time. It makes me wonder—if this case had happened today, would things be different with social media and more public interest in true crime? I know the family hasn't given up, and it always reinforces in my mind how crucial it is to keep spreading the word and sharing information, even years later. Who knows, maybe someone who remembers something will see these discussions and decide to come forward.
