I can't get over the fact that Darius Plummer was shot on his own birthday. It's just incredibly sad to think that what should have been a day of celebration for him and his loved ones turned into such a tragedy. I can't imagine the pain his family must be feeling not only losing him but on a day that is supposed to be filled with joy and happiness. It's so frustrating how little information has come out about this case. I hope someone out there knows something and finds the courage to come forward. Justice for Darius is long overdue, and his family deserves answers. It's cases like this that remind us how important it is to address gun violence in our communities. Rest in peace, Darius. Your community hasn't forgotten you.
