I've been following the case of Rosemary Charles and the others who tragically lost their lives in Metairie. It's absolutely shocking to think how close-knit communities can be shattered in an instant by such violence. One thing that just stuck with me is how the surviving victim found the strength to endure such a horrendous attack. Surviving an ordeal that you've not only physically endured but also emotionally is monumental. It’s wonderful to hear she pulled through, but I can’t imagine the trauma she must be dealing with. I hope she’s getting all the support she needs. The community's rallying around the families shows the resilience of our human spirit in the face of senseless tragedies. Let's keep the victim's loved ones in our thoughts as they cope with their incredible loss.
