Does anyone else find it odd that there wasn't much public information released about the night Vickie vanished? I've been following her case and feel like the circumstances should’ve triggered more detailed media coverage back in 1997. Given her medical conditions, you’d think there'd be a greater sense of urgency. I’m curious about her daily routine leading up to that night—did she have a support system, like a caretaker or neighbor checking on her? Sometimes there are small habits or patterns that could, in hindsight, reveal important clues. Would love to hear any insights from people familiar with the case or the area around West Central Avenue in Hemet. Is it a busy area where someone might’ve seen or heard something? Let's keep her story alive and hopefully draw out new leads or witnesses.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the case of Vickie Ramona Baliel and wanted to discuss something that keeps nagging at me. Does anyone find it strange that there aren't more details on her last sighting? I mean, Vickie left her home on West Central Avenue that night, but where was she headed? Even in small communities like Hemet, someone could have seen her driving or walking after 9:00 p.m. Could it be that the area was just quiet, or is there more to her leaving that isn't being shared?
Given her medical conditions, I'm also wondering if she might have been disoriented before she even left her house. It feels like such an important detail that could help us piece together her movements. If she was confused, where would she have gone that she thought was "safe"?
If anyone has more info or theories on what she might have been doing that night, it could really help. It's hard to believe this is just a straightforward missing person case, especially with the police labeling it suspicious.
Hoping for more insight & to hear your thoughts. ?️‍♀️
I've been following Vickie's case for a while, and something that's always intrigued me is the mention of her medical conditions, especially the high ammonia levels due to liver issues. I came across some articles discussing how ammonia buildup can lead to severe confusion and disorientation, sometimes causing people to wander off without any clear intention or destination. It makes me wonder if her disappearance could have been more of a medical crisis than initially suspected. Could she have suddenly become disoriented and unknowingly wandered somewhere unsafe? It's really concerning to think how easily someone vulnerable could fall through the cracks without proper support or medication. If anyone in the area remembers seeing her or someone matching her description behaving unusually during that time, it could be so crucial to piecing together what happened.
