Has anyone looked into the impact that Alenzia Scott's case might have had on increased community efforts around Cedar Grove? I was reading an article about how neighborhoods sometimes come together more strongly in the wake of tragedies like this. A loss like Alenzia’s might have prompted local residents to rally against gun violence or organize vigils or community meetings to address safety concerns. It'd be encouraging to think that some positive steps could emerge from something so tragic, not only to honor Alenzia's memory but also to hopefully prevent more incidents like this. Any thoughts on this, or has anyone from Shreveport noticed any changes or initiatives in the area since 2017? Just curious and trying to find a glimpse of hope in such difficult circumstances.
Has anyone else noticed that the Cedar Grove neighborhood seems to struggle with violence? I was reading about Alenzia Scott Sr.'s case, and it's just so sad to see another incident like this happen there. It makes me wonder if there's more that can be done to improve safety for everyone living in that area. It's terrifying to think about how his family must feel, losing him in such a senseless manner.

I've been thinking a lot about the time of night when Alenzia Scott Sr. was found. Just before 3:40 a.m. seems like such an odd time for this to have happened. Was he out running an errand, or maybe coming home from visiting a friend? I can't help but wonder if he was perhaps meeting someone or if he knew whoever was involved. It's devastating to think that someone out there holds the key to understanding why Alenzia's life was cut so short. The people who love him deserve answers and closure. It’s so important for anyone who might have seen or heard anything to come forward, even if it seems insignificant. His family and friends are in my thoughts, and I truly hope they get the justice they deserve.
