Has anyone heard any updates about the community response since Darel's tragic passing? I've read how much the neighborhood was shaken by this senseless act of violence, especially considering how rare such incidents are in New Iberia. It must be incredibly hard for Darel's family and friends to process everything, and I imagine the community support is so crucial right now. I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other, and I can't imagine the ripple effect of such a tragedy. Hopefully, the community can come together to support each other and also work towards preventing future violence. Does anyone know if there have been any memorial events or initiatives started in Darel's honor? Sending strength and love to his loved ones.
