I was just thinking about how incredibly talented JaMarcus was on the wrestling mat. It's really awful to think that such a promising young athlete, someone who showed so much dedication and discipline, had their life cut short in such a senseless way. I'm not from Plain Dealing, but I’ve read how tight-knit the community is and how much pride they took in JaMarcus’s achievements. It must be so painful for his teammates and coaches as well. It's like losing a part of a family. I truly hope those who loved him find some comfort through each other in these dark times. Keeping them in my thoughts as they navigate this nightmare. ?
