I've been following the case of Jaleel Bonham and it's truly devastating how justice seems to slip through the cracks. Something that's been on my mind is the role of grand juries in cases like this. How can there be enough evidence to arrest someone like Demarko Alfred but not enough to indict? It's so frustrating for those seeking justice for Jaleel. I can’t imagine how his family must feel, having to deal with the uncertainty and the hope that seems to be dashed with each passing year. It makes me wonder if there's any other way to re-examine the evidence or approach new witnesses that may have been too afraid to speak up initially. It feels like such a cold case, and yet there are still so many questions burning for answers. I truly hope anyone with information comes forward to help bring peace to Jaleel's loved ones.
