I'm just so saddened by the news about Byron Hayes. I've been following the case closely since it happened, and it's devastating for everyone involved. What has stuck with me is the incredible strength his family has shown during such a difficult time. Instead of being consumed by anger or despair, they've channeled their energy into starting a foundation in his name focused on recovery resources. It speaks volumes about the kind of person Byron must have been, always looking out for others and wanting to make a difference.
I think creating this foundation is a beautiful way to honor his legacy, but I can't help but wonder about the timeline between when Byron was found and the swift arrest of David Foreman Jr. Does anyone know more about what kind of evidence led to Foreman's arrest so quickly? It seems like the detectives must have found something pretty solid at his residence to connect him to the crime in such a short period of time. My thoughts are with the Hayes family and everyone who knew and loved Byron. Let’s hope for justice and that this new foundation can bring some hope and healing to those in need.
