I can't stop thinking about how the shooting at Iberville and Royal streets happened in such a crowded area. Anyone who's been to the French Quarter knows it's always bustling with people, especially locals and tourists mingling. It's chilling to consider how many lives could have been affected that day. I can only imagine the sheer panic and chaos during those moments, with people running in every direction. The thought of being caught in such a situation is terrifying. My heart goes out to Estavan Pleasant's family and to the others who were injured. It’s comforting to know that the NOPD is actively working to bring the remaining suspects to justice. This kind of violence just doesn’t belong in a place like New Orleans, known for its vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. Let’s hope the community can come together to prevent such tragedies in the future.
