I'm really struggling to wrap my head around the absolute senselessness of what happened to Raegan and Dustin. Seeing someone as young and full of potential as Raegan being caught in such a horrible situation is just gut-wrenching. I keep thinking about the moments after the attack, with Raegan wounded and alone, hoping for someone to help her. It's really haunting. This young woman had her whole life ahead of her, and all the promise it held was just stolen away. My heart goes out to her family and friends who have to navigate the rest of their lives with this loss. It's truly unfair, and I hope they find strength in each other during this incredibly tough time. We should all be more vigilant about the dangers around us and support our communities the best we can, to try and prevent stories like this from happening again.
