I've been following Cherish Smith's case, and something that's been on my mind is the impact on her children, Nova and A'vea. It's devastating to think about these little ones growing up without their mother. I think about how their family must rally around them, trying to provide what Cherish would have given them herself had things been different. It seems like her family has been supportive, but with no updates or closure, it must weigh heavily on them every day. I hope one day her children get the answers they deserve, and that they always feel wrapped in the love their mom undoubtedly had for them. Anyone else here thinking about the long-term effects on these kids? It's just so terribly sad.
