Hey everyone, I’ve been following Byron "Hubba" Scott’s case for a while now and something that really stands out to me is the impact on his family, particularly his mom, La'Shod Scott. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain she and the rest of the family are enduring. Every time I read about another birthday or holiday passing without resolution, my heart just goes out to her and Byron's siblings, Bryan and Ca'Shod. It’s been over five years and the silence must be crushing for them. They seem like such a close-knit family and for them to not have any answers... it’s truly gut-wrenching. If anyone out there has any information, no matter how small it may seem, please come forward. Justice for Byron means so much more than just solving a case–it's about giving peace to those who loved him most. Holding onto hope that one day, Byron’s family will find the justice they so deeply deserve. Take care, everyone.

Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Byron "Hubba" Scott? It's so disheartening that we're over several years now, and his family still hasn't seen justice served. I can't even begin to imagine the pain his mother, La '[Shod Scott, and his siblings must feel every day. This wasn’t just another statistic; it was someone's son, brother, a friend with a life full of potential cut way too short. I was reading about Crimestoppers GNO offering a reward, and it makes me wonder if there's still hope that someone out there will finally come forward with new information. How could a tragedy so public happen without anyone standing up with what they know? New Orleans, like any community, can't ever heal if this violence isn’t addressed and justice isn’t achieved. Does anyone have updates or heard if there are any new leads in the investigation? Let's keep Byron’s memory alive by continuing the conversation and supporting his family in whatever way we can.

I've been following Byron "Hubba" Scott's case for a while, and it's just so unsettling that it’s still unsolved. I've been thinking a lot about his family, especially his mom, La 'Shod, and what they must be going through every day. Losing a child is impossibly hard, and then to have no answers or justice? It’s an awful burden. One thing I've been wondering about is whether anyone in the community saw something or heard anything before the drive-by happened. With it being in the early evening, near dinner time, surely someone might have been walking their dog, heading to a store, or just out in the neighborhood. I truly hope someone comes forward, even if they think what they know is small or insignificant. Every bit of information could be crucial. There’s been so much talk about community engagement in solving crimes, but the response seems mixed. What do you all think needs to happen to encourage more people to speak up? It's such a close-knit area, so there’s got to be a way to bridge the trust gap between residents and law enforcement, right? My heart really goes out to Byron’s family, and I pray they find the justice they deserve.
