I've been following Dominique Scott's case for a while now, and it's incredibly frustrating to see how many hurdles are in the way of finding justice for her and her family. I can't imagine how hard it must be for Dominique's loved ones, dealing with not just their immense loss but also the lack of closure. It's disheartening to think about how many cases like hers remain unsolved in Detroit, primarily due to the reluctance of witnesses to come forward. I'm curious about what more can be done to encourage community members to speak up. Have any successful strategies been put in place in other cities that anyone knows of? I feel like forming better community-police relationships could be a game-changer in these situations. I hope that advances in forensics, particularly with DNA, will soon provide the vital evidence needed to solve Dominique's case. Her family deserves answers, and Dominique deserves justice.
