I still can't wrap my head around how no arrests have been made in Messiah's case. This bright little boy with a whole life ahead of him, suddenly gone, and yet we have no answers. It just feels so senseless. I can't imagine the pain that his family, particularly his mother Latajah and grandmother Twyla, must be experiencing right now. Twyla’s words about Messiah being a "fun-loving, mischievous normal kid" really hit hard. It paints a picture of a child full of life and joy, something that should never have been taken away from him. I think it’s critical for us as a community to unite and support them, not only in their grief but in their call for action against gun violence. We often talk about the issues of gun violence, but seeing its impact so close to home especially involving such an innocent soul makes it all the more urgent. Hoping that someone, somewhere, knows something and finds the courage to step forward. Messiah deserves justice, and his family deserves peace. If anyone has any info, please, please share it with the authorities.

Hey everyone, I've been following Messiah's case for a while and something has been on my mind. Has anyone else thought about the location where the shooting happened? Buena Vista Street and North Pierre Avenue—is this an area known for previous incidents or other violent activities? I'm curious if this was just a terrible coincidence or if the location might have played a role in why this tragedy occurred. It's so tragic to think that these kinds of incidents can happen in places we might not expect. My heart goes out to Messiah's family and community, hoping they find peace and justice soon. Let's keep this discussion going and bring some awareness.

I'm thinking a lot about Messiah Murphy's case lately, especially after reading the touching words from his grandmother, Twyla Smith. It must be so incredibly difficult for the family to deal with this senseless loss. What really stands out to me is how Messiah's murder shines a light on a much larger issue in the area—gun violence in Shreveport. This was an innocent child with a whole life ahead of him, and hearing how much he loved dancing and cartoons just brings it home how cruel and random this kind of violence is. I know they're still searching for answers and that the police haven’t made any arrests yet, but the fact that there hasn't been more progress is extremely frustrating. I really hope that the focus on this case brings more community involvement and pushes for better prevention strategies against future tragedies. It would be such a meaningful way to honor Messiah's memory. If anyone has any information, even if it seems small, I urge you to come forward. Every bit helps in cases like this.
