Has anyone else been following the Lanza case closely? One part that's been on my mind a lot is the role of forensic evidence in the trial. From what I’ve read, it seems the forensic team did an incredible job piecing together what really happened that night. I can't even begin to imagine what Shackner’s family went through hearing all those details in court, but it must have been somewhat reassuring to see how meticulously the forensic evidence was gathered and presented, ultimately helping to secure a conviction. It’s a testament to how vital this work is in seeking justice for victims like Shackner. My thoughts are with his loved ones during what must still be an unimaginably difficult time.
