I've been thinking about Vernon's case lately and something that's been on my mind is the location where it happened. The 5200 block of Washington Avenue isn't a place you'd typically associate with violent crime. Has anyone else looked into the area around Bahm Street? It's so important for communities to feel like they can trust their surroundings. I can't imagine the toll this has taken on Vernon's family and friends, knowing that someone out there might have seen something but hasn’t come forward. If anyone knows more about the area or if there have been other incidents around there, it could be helpful to share. Let's keep this conversation going in hopes of bringing the Covington family and the community the answers they desperately need.
