Hey everyone, I've been following the sad case of Kirby "Bud" Pierre Courteaux Jr. and just can't shake how much he meant to everyone in Montegut. It's truly gut-wrenching that someone so generous and committed to his community met such a tragic end. I stumbled upon some heartwarming stories from his time teaching at the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development. Many of his students and coworkers have shared how he was not only a mentor but also a friend. It speaks volumes about his character and the positive impact he had on so many lives. I can't imagine what his family and friends are going through right now. It's tough thinking about how easily someone's life can be turned upside down by such senseless violence. My thoughts are with all of them as they navigate this unimaginable loss. Do any locals have more insights or stories about how Bud's efforts impacted the community? Would love to hear more about the positive change he brought to others. Stay safe out there, everyone.
