I can't stop thinking about how incredibly strong those two boys must be. To endure such a traumatic event and have the presence of mind to protect themselves by hiding in the shed takes immense bravery. My heart goes out to them, knowing they’ve lost their mother and great-grandmother in such a horrific way. It's also been a reminder of how crucial support systems are for young survivors of such violence. I hope the community's efforts to support them continue, not just through the immediate aftermath but also in the long run. Sending them so much strength and healing during this unimaginably difficult time.
What a devastating situation for everyone involved. I've been thinking a lot about the two young boys who had to witness such a terrible crime and then find the courage to hide and survive. It must be incredibly traumatic for them, not only losing their mother and great-grandmother in such a violent way but having to live with the memory of that day. I just really hope they are getting the support and counseling they need to process this trauma. It’s encouraging to see the community stepping in to help with fundraisers, but it feels like those boys will need long-term support beyond just the financial help. Does anyone know if there have been resources allocated for their ongoing care and counseling? Such a heartbreaking situation, and I pray that they can find some semblance of healing.
I can't help but think about how brave those two young boys were during such a terrifying ordeal. It breaks my heart to imagine what they must have gone through, losing their mom and great-grandmother in such a horrific way. It's a testament to their strength and resilience that they managed to escape and seek safety. I hope the community continues to support them and help them find some measure of peace amid this chaos. This case is a stark reminder of the need for better protection and resources for victims of domestic violence. My thoughts are with the children and everyone who knew and loved Ivy, Christa, and Ruby. They deserved so much better.
