I recently came across the tragic case of Anjhae Pharagood, and it really struck me how deeply interwoven the community seems to be in Thibodaux. I can't help but think about her little girl, Akili. Growing up without her mother is going to be incredibly tough, and I truly hope the community will wrap her in love and support. It's been months since Anjhae's passing, and I wonder how Denise, her mom, is coping. Grieving while trying to stay strong for Akili must be a monumental task. Has anyone heard if there's been any movement in the case? It's unsettling to think that there might still be no answers or justice for Anjhae and her family. If anyone knows more or if there have been any updates or memorials planned, let's share and keep the conversation going. I believe keeping her memory alive can create pressure for answers and maybe support for her family.
