I’ve been really affected by Bonny Tremblay’s tragic passing. As someone who has always been interested in true crime, this case hits hard given the personal dynamics involved. It seems like Bonny was truly loved by her family and community, and I can’t imagine the shock her loved ones are going through. Her involvement in the church and community as a recreational therapist shows she was someone who dedicated her life to helping others, which makes this whole situation even more senseless. What stood out to me was the use of a SWAT team robot to enter the Tremblay home. I’ve heard about their use in similar situations but thought it was worth discussing how it impacts the resolution of these tragic events. While the robot might provide a safer way to assess the situation for law enforcement, it also seems like it would create such an impersonal and eerie approach, especially for something happening in a residential setting. I wonder how normal that is and if anyone has insights into its effectiveness or criticism. Sending love to Bonny’s family and everyone coping with this.

I've been thinking about the brave officers who had to respond to the call that morning. It must have been incredibly difficult for them to handle such a tragic situation, knowing there were lives at stake inside the Tremblay home. I can't imagine the emotional toll it must have taken on the SWAT team and the negotiator who were there doing everything they could to resolve the situation peacefully. My heart goes out to them, as well as to Bonny's family, who were left to deal with this unimaginable loss. It's reassuring, though, to know there are people willing to step into danger to try to save lives, even when the outcome isn't what anyone hopes for.
