Has anyone else heard about the candlelight vigil that was held for Julius Goudy at the site of the shooting? I read about it briefly but wanted to gather more details. It's so touching to see the community come together, but it’s also a harsh reminder of the pain and fear that keeps gripping Ville Platte due to this unrelenting violence. I think it’s powerful and necessary for the community to stand united, but it’s evident that much more needs to be done. I’m hoping this vigil, along with other community efforts, puts more pressure on authorities to take substantial actions to curb the violence. If anyone was there or has any insights, I'd love to hear more about what was shared or discussed. It’s really important to keep Julius’s memory alive and strive toward meaningful changes.
