Did anyone else follow the case of Elroy Raymond? It's so tragic what happened to him. I can't stop thinking about how senseless it is to lose someone so young. He had his whole life ahead of him. I’m particularly interested in how the community has reacted since the shooting at the 24/7 Lounge. Whenever a violent incident like this occurs, it leaves a mark on the community. Do you think the increased violence in Gretna is getting the attention it deserves from local authorities and communities? It feels like more needs to be done to prevent these kinds of tragedies from happening again. My heart goes out to Elroy’s family and the other individual who was injured. Does anyone know if there have been any community meetings or efforts to promote peace and safety after this incident?
