I can't stop thinking about Dakota’s dogs and chickens. It’s really stuck with me for some reason that he loved taking care of them. It says so much about his character. While everyone is focusing on the trial and the suspects, my heart aches for those animals who must miss him dearly. It must have been comforting for Dakota to be around them, and now those little lives have been disrupted as well. I hope someone close to him is making sure they're well-cared-for. It's these small details about a person’s life that really make the loss feel even more real. Sending thoughts to his family during this incredibly difficult time and to those who loved him and are missing that compassionate side of him. Anyone else find themselves wrapped up in these personal touches?
