Hey everyone,
I've been thinking about the impact that the shooting at The Vibe nightclub has had on the Cotton Valley community, and it's weighing heavily on my heart. It's just so tragic to see a night out end in such senseless violence. LaJasmine Jackson was only 19. That's so young with a whole future ahead. Her family shouldn't have to go through this, and neither should the families of the other victims.
What's even more sobering is that this could have happened to any bystander that night. My heart goes out to LaJasmine's loved ones, and I hope they're finding some comfort and support in each other during this incredibly difficult time. The community is certainly mourning, and it's a painful reminder of how quickly life can change.
I hope we continue to see progress in the investigation and that justice is served. In the meantime, let's not forget these victims and their families in our thoughts. If anything, this tragic event highlights the importance of coming together as a community to support one another.

I'm reminded every day of how fragile life can be, and this tragedy in Cotton Valley hits hard. LaJasmine and Vantrez didn't deserve this. To think that LaJasmine was just out enjoying what should've been a regular night out with friends, only to end up as a victim in a senseless shooting. It's devastating. I can't even begin to imagine what her family must be going through right now. It’s shocking how quickly things can escalate, and innocent lives are forever changed. I'm hoping that this case serves as a wake-up call for increased safety measures and community programs to prevent violence at local venues. We need to come together to support the families and each other during such immeasurably difficult times. My thoughts are with them.
