Has anyone else been following the community's response to Daniel Lewis's tragic murder? I've been deeply moved by how people in Baton Rouge have rallied around his family, showing an incredible amount of support and solidarity. It really says something about the strength and heart of this community. Local businesses have even been hosting fundraisers to help with the Lewis family's expenses, and there's been increased dialogue about community safety. It's both uplifting and a stark reminder of what this neighborhood has suffered. I'm curious if anyone knows more about the initiatives that are being taken up to ensure something like this doesn't happen again? It seems there's a lot of momentum right now, and it would be great to keep that going. Daniel's memory surely deserves that kind of legacy.
