I've been following the case of Kalisca Williams, and my heart truly goes out to her family, especially her grandmother, Ruthie Washington. Taking on the care of five grandchildren is no small feat, especially on top of the grief they're already enduring. It's incredible to see the strength and resilience from Ruthie in such a devastating time. I can't imagine the additional stress she's under, given that one of those children is battling advanced cancer. It's so important for communities to rally around families like the Washingtons, offering support and any help they can. These are the moments when it's clear how much impact community support can have. Does anyone know if there's been a fund or anything set up to help them during this time? They shouldn't have to face this alone.
I came across Kalisca Williams' tragic story and couldn't stop thinking about the tremendous burden on her grandmother, Ruthie Washington. Losing a daughter and then a granddaughter, and now having to take on raising five children, including one battling advanced cancer, is unimaginable. This family has been through so much, and their strength is truly remarkable.
