It's hard to even think about what Larry's family and friends are going through right now. I didn't know Larry personally, but from what I've read about him, it sounds like he was an incredible person who really brought people together with his music and positive outlook on life. It leaves a mark on the heart to hear about how he and Hiram were taken from their loved ones in such a violent way.
I am curious about how the community can rally in times like this. With the swift arrests of Latchie, Petite Jr., and Tousant, it seems like the Natchitoches community really pulled together. Does anyone have any insights or experiences about how local communities have come together to support victims' families or assist with investigations? Maybe there's a lesson here about what can be learned or done to better prevent such tragedies in the future.
Sending strength and support to all who are grieving this immense loss.
