I read about the tragic death of Messiah Thompson, and I can't stop thinking about how young he was. Losing a life at just 18 is so devastating. It really hits home how prevalent gun violence is and how it affects families and communities. What concerns me is how little information seems to be out there about what happened or why. Given that it's been over three years, it makes me wonder about the challenges the New Orleans Police Department is facing in this case. Was there any surveillance footage from the area? It's sad to think that someone might know something and hasn’t come forward yet. Messiah deserves justice, and his family deserves answers. Hoping that the reward offered by Crimestoppers will encourage someone to speak up. My heart goes out to his loved ones.
