I've been following the Brian Hayes case, and something keeps nagging at me about the timing. It's so tragic for his family, and I can't imagine what they're going through right now. But the fact that this happened in broad daylight, around 3:30 p.m., makes me wonder if there were witnesses who just haven't spoken up yet. Maybe someone saw something unusual but didn’t think it was relevant at the time?
New Orleans East is a busy area, and around that time, you'd expect some foot or car traffic, right? If anyone saw anything suspicious or has dashcam footage from that area, I really hope they come forward. It could be crucial in piecing together what happened that day. Does anyone know what the police have found out from the surveillance footage near the I-10 Service Road? It's really unsettling not having any solid leads almost three years later.
