I’ve been following this case closely and I wanted to share some thoughts. I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on Jermaine's kids. Losing a parent so young is incredibly tough, and I can only imagine how difficult it must be for them to process everything. They’re undoubtedly going through a whirlwind of emotions right now, and they’ll need all the support they can get from family and the community.
From what has been shared, Jermaine seemed like the kind of dad who was deeply involved in his kids’ lives. It's devastating to think of the milestones they’ll have to face without him there. I hope community organizations offer some grief support resources, not just for his kids, but for all the young ones in Baton Rouge affected by violence. It's important they know they are not alone and that there are people who care.
It's essential we stay vigilant and support every effort to find justice for Jermaine and Cody. Everyone deserves to feel safe in their own neighborhood. My heart truly goes out to all their loved ones during this unimaginable time.
