I've been reading more about the Ka Loko Dam tragedy, and I found it so eerie how Carl Wayne Rorstein was supposed to be celebrating such a joyful occasion as the best man at his business partner's wedding, only for everything to turn so tragic. It makes you wonder how drastically life can change in the blink of an eye. I've seen discussions about Aurora Fehring-Dingwall, but I haven't seen many people talk about Carl's connection to Kauai. Does anyone have more information on his background or his ties to the area? It seems like he was well-connected, and it's a shame that his life was cut short in such a devastating way. Would love to hear more from folks who might know his story better.
