I’ve been following Tyreek "Buddie D" Johnson’s case, and something that's been on my mind is how deeply he seemed connected to his community and family. The outpouring of love at his funeral at Triumph Kingdom Builder Missionary Baptist Church was evident. It's truly a testament to the kind of person he was. It must have been incredibly tough for his family and friends to say goodbye under such limited circumstances due to COVID-19. The restrictions surely made an already difficult time even harder, yet they honored him with such grace and strength. I’m hoping the community continues to rally around Tyreek’s loved ones as they navigate this immense loss. While the details surrounding his passing are still uncertain, let’s keep the focus on celebrating the vibrant life he led and supporting those left behind.
