I wanted to talk about how incredible it is that Curley Domingue’s family made the choice to donate his organs after such a devastating event. It really speaks to the strength and generosity of Marie Domingue Richard, even in her grief. It’s astounding to think that amidst losing a child, someone can think of helping others. Over 100 lives have been touched because of Curley, and I think it's so important to recognize this part of his legacy. The selflessness shown by Curley's family is a powerful reminder of the good that can come even from the most tragic situations. It also highlights how important organ donation is and how it can make a difference in countless lives. I'm hoping that this part of Curley's story inspires more people to become organ donors, as you never know how impactful that decision can be. Sending lots of support and admiration to Marie and the family.

Hey everyone, I was thinking a lot about the impact this case must be having on the community in Lafayette. Knowing that Curley Domingue and Diontrell Castille were both just 18 really hits hard, especially when you consider that two juveniles are now charged with their murders. It’s so difficult to comprehend young lives ending and others being altered so drastically with these serious charges. I feel for Curley's mom, Marie, and the strength she shows in choosing forgiveness. It can't be easy, yet she’s calling for something positive to come out of this tragedy by advocating for outreach programs. Her resilience is incredible and highlights how crucial it is for communities to band together and support our youth. With discussions now focusing on prevention and outreach, maybe this case could inspire changes that prevent others from going down a similar path. Thinking of the friends and families affected. They must be carrying a heavy burden and could use all the support they can get from all of us. Stay strong, everyone. —JulesLovesTrueCrime
