Hey everyone, I just wanted to take a moment to remember Jova Guidroz and how senseless his murder feels even after so many years. I recently read some background on the rise of gun violence in Dorchester at the time, and it really makes you think about all the lives that were affected and how each one of those stories deserves justice. Jova didn’t just become a statistic on that tragic day in February 2007; he was a son, a friend, a person who had people who deeply cared for him. It's so frustrating to think that there hasn't been any progress in solving his case. I can only imagine the pain his family continues to endure without answers. If anyone here is from the Boston area or knows more about these cold cases, what’s the atmosphere like now regarding unsolved cases? I hope our community can keep his memory alive and keep pushing for justice. We owe it to Jova, his loved ones, and everyone else who deserves to know the truth. Take care, [Username]
