Has anyone else been deeply affected by the surveillance video footage release in Travante’s case? Seeing the images of the suspects and their vehicle just made it all feel so real and close to home. It's chilling to think about how something so devastating can be captured so starkly on camera. I’m grateful to the Shreveport Police Department for diligently working through these visuals to identify and arrest the suspects. But I’m also left with a sense of fear—how many other incidents are going unnoticed or unsolved? Travante’s family must be going through unimaginable pain, but I hope that seeing some progress in the case offers them a semblance of comfort. The community’s rise in violence is alarming, and while these arrests are a step toward justice, it’s clear there’s so much more work to be done to ensure safety and peace for everyone. Anyone else feel like there's something more we as a community can do to honor Travante’s life and help his family through this tough time?
