Has anyone else been looking into the weather conditions the night Donald Venes went overboard into the Kuskokwim River? I did a little digging and found that the tide was pretty high, with rough currents reported by local fishermen close to the Bering Sea. It makes me wonder how much that could have contributed to what happened. Also, it's been reported that the winds were particularly strong that evening. Could it have been a combination of these factors that led to his fall? I'm really interested in hearing what others think, especially if there's anyone familiar with the conditions in that area. Any insights or similar cases you've come across would be appreciated!
