Hey everyone, I’ve been reading about Kelvin Braziel’s case, and I can't stop thinking about the community in Shreveport where this happened. It's crushing to know it occurred in a neighborhood that must be trying to cope with the loss and the uncertainty of it all. Allendale is such a tight-knit area, and I can only imagine the fear and grief that this has caused among the residents who heard those terrifying gunshots or saw such a tragic scene unfold. I really hope that the police can gather enough evidence soon. The fact that Kelvin was shot in a vacant lot makes me wonder if someone knew he’d be there. Did he often go to that spot? Was this a targeted act? It’s such a nerve-wracking thought that someone who could do such a thing is still out there. If anyone here is local and knows the place or has any insights on how the community is holding up, I’m all ears. Just looking for ways we might be able to help out or spread the word to bring justice for Kelvin and some peace to his loved ones. Stay safe out there, everyone.
