Has anyone dug into the weather conditions when the LifeGuard helicopter went missing in Prince William Sound? I've read that the weather can turn really quickly in that area. I wonder if there was a sudden storm that might have caused or contributed to the crash. It seems like the kind of detail that might have been overlooked initially. Anything could help in piecing together what happened to Cameron, Lance, and Gaye. Would be insightful if anyone with local knowledge or experience in that area could weigh in.

I can't stop thinking about the debris found near the Whittier Ferry Terminal. It seems like such an obvious clue, but at the same time, it feels like it only deepens the mystery of what happened out there. Has anyone looked into the weather conditions that day or if there were any other aircraft in the area? I read somewhere that turbulent weather can really throw off even the most experienced pilots. I'm hoping there are some seasoned aviators in this community who might have insights into how these kinds of conditions could impact a helicopter in that area. It's so haunting to think they were so close to Whittier but then just... disappeared.

I was just going through some old records and came across the case of Cameron Carter and the LifeGuard helicopter. Does anyone have any insight into the exact weather conditions at the time of the disappearance? I know Alaska weather can be crazy unpredictable, but I'm curious if there were any specific events or warnings in the days leading up to it. Could that have played a role in the helicopter going missing? Sometimes these details get overlooked in the bigger story. Also, if any locals remember any unusual activity or events at that time, it’d be interesting to hear about. I can’t help but feel like this sort of detail might shed a little more light on what happened to Cameron, Lance Brabham, and Gaye McDowell.
