I keep thinking about the local community around the Olde Salem Apartments. It must be so hard for the people who live there, knowing that Melvin Lashard Williams lost his life right in their neighborhood. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for his family and friends to face the place so close to where this tragedy occurred. It feels like everyone is stuck in this awful limbo with no arrests or suspects yet. I really hope that the Shreveport PD can find some leads soon. If you live in the area or know anything, even the smallest detail might help. It’s so important that we all share whatever we can to bring justice for Melvin.
