I've been thinking a lot about the unimaginable bravery that officers like Billy Collins demonstrate when heading into potentially dangerous situations. It’s incredibly sad to reflect on how quickly a call for help can turn into such a tragic outcome. Officer Collins's courage in the face of uncertainty is undoubtedly something that should be remembered and honored. My heart goes out to his family, friends, and everyone in the Doyline community who lost someone dear. It's a sobering reminder of the dangers faced by those who work tirelessly to protect us. Has anyone heard how the community is planning to commemorate his bravery and service moving forward?
