I came across some information suggesting that Kaufman Street, where Trendonovan Payne was found, has had a history of violent incidents in the past. It's so upsetting to think that this area hasn't seen the kind of change or safety measures it desperately needs. I genuinely feel for Trendonovan's family and the fear they must feel knowing the person responsible is still out there. It's frustrating when a community has to deal with repeated violence and not enough progress is made to prevent it. Has anyone else read up on this area or seen any improvements since this tragic incident? It just feels like there needs to be more focus on making these neighborhoods safe for everyone. If you know anything about the safety measures (or lack thereof) in Baton Rouge, it would be interesting to hear from the locals.
