Hey everyone, I’ve been following Rashawn Broussard’s case, and something that sticks with me is the community's response. It seems like Lafayette has really come together in the wake of Rashawn's death. I've read about several vigils and community meetings that have taken place since the tragic incident. It’s comforting to see so many people coming together, not only to remember Rashawn but also to discuss ways to prevent future violence in the area. I’m really curious if anyone here attended any of these events or if they've heard any updates on community initiatives. It feels important that Rashawn's death isn't just another statistic and that something positive comes from such a tragedy. It's frustrating that situations like these keep happening, but knowing the community is rallying for change is a small silver lining. Sending thoughts to Rashawn’s family and everyone involved. They deserve justice and peace.
