I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy must have on the student community at Grambling State. Homecoming is supposed to be a time of joy and reconnection, yet this incident has cast such a dark shadow over it all. I can't even imagine how Zelanz R. French's friends and family are coping with this sudden loss. It's concerning that the investigation hasn't led to any arrests yet, and it feels like the community is left in limbo, waiting for answers and justice. I hope that anyone with information can find the courage to come forward—every piece of the puzzle is crucial. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this senseless act of violence.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the tragic events at Grambling State University and wanted to share something that's been on my mind. It’s incredibly distressing to learn about Zulanz R. French's untimely death. I can’t even begin to imagine what his family and friends are going through right now. I really feel for them, especially because this was supposed to be a joyful celebration. Homecoming is a time meant for community and togetherness, not violence and loss.
What’s even more frustrating is that, despite some arrests for unrelated charges, there still hasn't been any progress in capturing those directly responsible for the shootings. I truly hope that someone comes forward with information soon. The idea that there might be people out there with details that could help bring closure to French’s and Walker’s families is tough to swallow. Props to the authorities offering anonymity and rewards to tipsters. Hopefully, that might encourage someone to speak up.
Thinking of Zelanz, D'Nique, and everyone else affected by this senseless act. Let’s keep the conversation going and hope for some justice soon.
Stay safe, all.
I came across the news about Zelanz R. French and felt such a deep sense of sorrow for his family and friends. His life was cut short during a moment that was supposed to be about joy and community. It’s disturbing how violence like this can erupt even in places where people gather to celebrate and connect. I wonder if there’s more we can do as a society to create safer environments at events like these. It's crucial that the community comes together to share any information that might lead to answers. If anyone here knows anything, please reach out to the authorities or CrimeStoppers. We owe it to Zelanz, and those who loved him, to get justice and ensure that campuses are safer in the future. Sending strength to everyone affected.
