Hey everyone, I've been following the investigation into the tragic death of Dexter Hymes, and something that's been on my mind is how this has unfolded in our community. It's so unsettling to think that something like this could happen in broad daylight in a place where many of us probably feel safe going about our daily routines. I can't even imagine what Dexter's family and friends are going through right now. I've been reading a lot about how crimes like these can spark real fear and anxiety in neighborhoods, and yet, bring people together to support one another and push for change. Especially with young people involved, it's a harsh reminder of how crucial it is for communities to come together and promote a safer environment for everyone. I'm curious if there have been any community meetings or initiatives starting up in response to this tragedy to address gun violence and safety measures?
