Hey everyone, I came across a puzzling detail in John Dunwell Samen’s case and wondered if others have any thoughts. It's been mentioned that, before he disappeared, John had shown interest in camping and outdoor survival. This makes me think about the potential paths he might have taken if he decided to head to the woodlands. Given his interest, do you think it's plausible he’s been living off the grid somewhere? Perhaps he made it northwards and found a secluded area in the forests out there? I know it’s a long shot, but with his skills, it’s not entirely out of the question. Maybe someone familiar with the local wilderness has noted anything out of the ordinary over the years? Any insights or ideas would be really helpful.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of John Dunwell Samen for a while, and I wanted to discuss something that’s been on my mind. We know he had a knack for camping and outdoor survival skills, right? Given that he was last seen walking near North Main Street and College Street and later possibly near L.P. Bailey Highway, do you think it’s possible he headed towards a wooded area to try and live off the grid? I checked some maps, and there are some spots in that direction where he might have tried to set up camp. It makes me wonder if more detailed searches happened in those specific locations or if they were overlooked. Also, considering his health condition and missing medication, how long might he have managed out there? Hope discussing these areas might lead to new insights or ideas. What do you all think?
