Has anyone else been reflecting on how connected Charlotte was with her community? I've been following this case and it's clear she touched a lot of lives in Donaldsonville. People have mentioned she was so kind-hearted, always jumping in to help when someone needed it. It's such a jarring contrast to think about the violence she experienced at the end of her life. While the authorities are still working hard on the details of the case, I think it's important to not let her bright spirit get overshadowed by this senseless act. It seems the town is rallying together, especially with the fundraiser for her kids. I just hope they find peace and support in the love their mom shared with so many.
