I find myself thinking about Raynell's love of music and how he wrote and performed his own rap songs. I can't help but wonder if anyone in his community has recordings or videos of him performing. It would be such a beautiful tribute to hear his voice and see him doing something he loved. This aspect of his life, his creativity, and his passion are often drowned out by the tragedy of his passing. If any of his friends or family have memories or stories about Raynell and his music, it would be incredible to share those here. Remembering the person he was and not just the circumstances of his death feels important for those who loved him and for those of us trying to understand and honor his life.
