I’ve been thinking a lot about Morgan Tyrone's story, especially her partner and their young child who were there during such a terrifying moment. It must be incredibly difficult to process the level of betrayal and fear they experienced from someone intending to harm rather than just completing a simple transaction. The fact that Morgan was just trying to buy a phone and lost her life in such a senseless, brutal manner is truly unsettling. It’s a stark reminder that we should always be cautious when dealing with online sales. I can’t imagine the trauma Morgan’s partner is dealing with, not to mention the challenge of explaining this one day to their child. My heart goes out to them both. How do families ever heal after something so devastating?
