I've been thinking a lot about the introduction of "Devin's Law" in Baton Rouge and the impact it's having. It's absolutely crucial that these steps are being taken to address safety concerns and provide some level of protection for families. I believe this kind of proactive legislation might offer a small measure of hope amid such an unfathomable loss. The fact that the community has stepped up to remember Devin and advocate for safer living conditions is heartening. It’s a meaningful way to honor his memory and potentially save lives in the future. The push by his family and supporters to make Devin’s Law a state-wide initiative shows tremendous courage and strength. It makes me wonder how we, as citizens, can further support these efforts to ensure no one else faces such a devastating tragedy. Does anyone know how we might get involved or support these legislative changes?
